Kobe city in Japan uses energy from hydrogen fuel on a pilot scale. Despite the grim novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) scenario, Japan finished construction of 2,500 cubic meter liquefied hydrogen gas terminal at Kobe in April. It is expandable 800 times.
To generate 1.5 megawatt power, 2,215 normal meter cube per hour of hydrogen gas is required, according to test demonstrations.
