Honda envisions 40% of its stateside lineup being electric or hydrogen fuel-cell by 2030, climbing to 100% by 2040.
The Japanese automaker will use GM's Ultium powetrain to offer a Honda and an Acura-branded SUV stateside as 2024 model-year vehicles.
Honda plans to develop its own solid-state battery tech, rather than relying on outside developers.
