China has built 118 hydrogen refueling stations - CnEVPost

By the end of 2020, China had built 118 hydrogen refueling stations in total, with 167 under construction or planned, according to a recently released report. There are 101 hydrogen refueling stations already in operation and 17 to be operated, exceeding the 2020 target, according to a white paper jointly released by organizations including EVTank.

Shanghai plans to have 100 hydrogen refueling stations by 2023, and Beijing plans to have 74 stations by 2025.

By the end of 2020, there were 578 hydrogen refueling stations in operation worldwide, 115 new stations more than in 2019, the fastest growth in recent years, the white paper data shows.

There are 200 hydrogen refueling stations in Europe, 100 of which are in Germany. North America has a total of 75 hydrogen refueling stations, 49 in California, USA.

There are 275 hydrogen refueling stations in Asia, 142 in Japan and 60 in South Korea. China has 101 stations in operation, mainly serving buses, logistics vehicles and trucks.
